Lucille A. Cuellar

Lucille A. Cuellar, 82, passed away September 2, 2015. She was born in Corpus Christi Texas on March 4, 1933 to Gertrude and Alejandro L. Ayala. Lucille retired from Woolworth’s & Company Store, after nineteen years. She raised her family in Robstown Texas in the 60’s and 70’s and was a member of St Anthony Catholic Church. Lucille was known to be the care giver of the family taking care of several members during difficult times of illness. She will be remembered for her dedication to her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Pete L. “Chico” Cuellar, of 30 years and her grandson, Michael Moreno and her parents. She is survived by her three sons, Edward G. Cuellar, Michael Anthony Cuellar (Lupe) and Gabriel Cuellar (David Weaver). She also leaves behind to cherish her memories her sister, Laura Ayala and her brother, Alex Ayala (Carmen); also 2 grandchildren, Maryann (Jessica) Moreno and Anthony (Talila)Cuellar; 4 great-grandchildren, Michael Joe Cuellar, Anthony Cuellar, Jr., Noemi Cuellar and Emily Cuellar. A special thanks to the caring staff of the Senior Care of Corpus Christi. Family will be receiving friends from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Funeraria del Angel-549 Cheyenne on Friday, September 4, 2015 with a rosary at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Visitation will continue at 9:15 am at the Church with a Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00 am at St Anthony Catholic Church on Saturday, September 5, 2015. A burial will be held at Robstown Memorial Park.
