Lucia Leal Muñiz, 76, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away December 16, 2020 after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Kingsville, Texas on April 4, 1944.

She had a passion for football a (Dallas Cowboys) fan.

Lucia was preceded in death by Father, Luz Muñiz, Mother, Elda Deanda, Brother, Jose Luis Muñiz, Son, Robert Muñiz and Granddaughters, Rianna Jo Ayala, Teresa Isabel Garcia and Melissa Muñiz.

She is survived by Daughters, Teresa Muñiz Marmolejo and April Muñiz, Son, Michael Muñiz. Grandchildren, Roxane Muñiz, Erica Muñiz, Priscilla Muñiz, Jessica Muñiz, Renee Muñiz, Danielle Muñiz, Joe Luis Ayala, De’andrea Marmolejo, Manyeal Marmolejo, Miguel Muñiz and Michelle Muñiz. Fifteen Great-grandchildren and Siblings, Hermelinda Saxer (Edward), Noemi Perez (Richard) and Arnold Muñiz.

Pallbearers will be Arnold Muñiz, Joe Luis Ayala, Jr., Jeremiah Garcia, Joe Luis Ayala, III, Jerald Harper, Jaython Ayala, Marco Medina and Miguel Muñiz.

Family will receive friends on Thursday December 24, 2020 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday December 24, 2020 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home in the Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
