Lucia Morales

God has called another of his children home, Lucia Morales, 81, of Corpus Christi, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 19, 2016. She was a beautiful person inside and out, always wanting to do things to bring her family together and make everyone feel loved.

She was also an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan.

She was presided in death by her beloved husband of forty three year, Inez Lucio Morales, two sons, Inez and Carlos Morales, her parents, Benito and Isabel Soto, and siblings: Benito Soto Jr., Robert Soto, Olga Soto and Elma (Jimmy) Reyes, and brother-in law Antonio Facundo.

She leaves behind the people who loved her most sisters, Ofelia (John) Baird, Reina Facundo and brothers: Celestino (Edna) Soto, Joe Soto, and Albert Soto; children: Larry (Sharon), Julia (Joe) Morales, Sam (Lydia) Morales, Richard (Donna) Morales, Alex Morales, Gabriel Morales, and Georgina Morales, Lucy (Fred) Escobedo, Patricia (Homero) Garcia, Christina (Leo) Buentello, JoAnn (Hector) Flores, Maria (Anthony) Thompson, Julie Brandon; 32 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Close family friend, Wayne Lewis.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m., at Memory Gardens Funeral Chapel with a Holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., that same evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, October 24, 2016, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
