Lisa Marie Cantu

Lisa Marie Cantu, 56, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on November 9, 2020. She was born in Refugio, Texas on March 20, 1964. She graduated from Tuloso Midway High School and was married to Jose R. Hernandez.

Lisa worked in Event Staffing for the American Bank Center and had a passion for fishing, watching baseball games, and picnics with her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ruben R. Cantu; maternal grandparents, Jose and Eufemia Teneyuque; and paternal grandparents, Carlos and Cecilia Cantu.

She is survived by her husband, Jose R. Hernandez; mother, Eva T. Cantu; step-father, Homer Burgess and step-mother, Lucy Cantu.

She will be lovingly missed by her brothers and sisters: Ruben R. Cantu, Jr., George T. (Alicia) Cantu, Roxane T. (Dustin) Williams, Bianca L. Cantu, Angela M. Ortiz-Ramos and Xavier H. Ortiz; as well as numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, November 14, 2020 starting at 12:30 PM. Funeral Service will be held following the visitation at 2:00 PM, with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
