Lilly Rodriguez Guerrero

Lilly Rodriguez Guerrero, age 78, passed away peacefully to be with our Lord on Thursday, November 4, 2021. She was born on July 2, 1943, in Corpus Christi, TX to Brijido Rodriguez and Maria Garcia Rodriguez. Lilly was a loving, kind, and sweet person. In her early years of marriage, she was a homemaker. She worked at West Oso High School for over 25 years. Lilly loved her husband, children, and all her family dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Brijido Rodriguez and Maria Garcia Rodriguez; daughter, Angelita Lopez; and brothers, Frank Rodriguez and Benito Rodriguez.

Lilly is survived by her husband of 62 years, Santiago Roman Guerrero Sr., 5 children: Christine (the late Emilio) Balderas, Criselda (Martin) Torres, Santiago (Noelia) Guerrero Jr., Alma Lopez, and Leticia (Mike) Leal; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 7 brothers and sisters Guadalupe (the late Abel Sr.) Arriaga, Sylvia (Frank) Fuentes, Norma (Terry) Jimenez, Richard (Belinda) Rodriguez, Diana Rodriguez, Robert (Lupita) Rodriguez, and Eddie Rodriguez; along with numerous family members and friends.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel, 549 Cheyenne St., on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 11:00 am with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 12:30 pm. Graveside service will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd. at 1:30 pm.

At the request of the family, guests are required to please wear a mask when visiting.
