She was born on July 11, 1925. She worked for Lichtenstein Department Store for 40 years and retired as an Accountant. Lilia was well loved by her family and friends. She dedicated her life to her loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Francisco Vela and Juana Garcia; sisters, Jesusa Gonzales, Ofelia Hurtado; and brother, Richard Pena Sr.
She is survived by her nephews and nieces, Robert Hurtado (Antonia), Maria Luisa Lugo (Lupe), Richard Pena Jr. (Graciela), Juanita Valenzuela, Rudy Gonzales (Christina), Francisco Gonzales Jr. (Noemi), Refugio Gonzales (Maria); and numerous other nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Mass will celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 1, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
