

Leopoldo “Leo” Zamora, Jr. passed away in San Antonio, Texas on May 26, 2012. He was born in Alice, Texas on April 1, 1969 to Leopoldo Zamora, Sr. and Victoria Perez Zamora. He was an avid baseball fan of the Texas Rangers and he loved to read, fish, and Bar-B-Que. Leo was a veteran of the Gulf War.
He is survived by his wife, Elisa Zamora; son, Nicolas Zamora; parents, Leopoldo and Victoria Zamora; brothers, Alberto (Eunice) Zamora, Hector (Maricela) Zamora; sister, Belisa Salinas; parents-in-law, Robert and Betty Montes. Also surviving him are his cats, Sylvester and Chiquita and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Public visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2012 with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm on Friday, June 1, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly. Interment will be at 2:00 pm at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
