Laura Mesa

LauraMesaTXLaura Mesa passed away peacefully at the age of 96 on Saturday, July 22, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Viola Moore, her sister Jean Andrews, her loving husband, Frank Mesa and her stepson Charles Mesa. She is survived by her brother Daryl Moore; her children Jacquetta Piper, H.G. Littrell, Willis Littrell, Delbert L. Fern, III and David Fern; her step-children, Rick Mesa, Gina Mesa, and Tina Mesa; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was born in Madill, Oklahoma on November 16, 1920. Laura was blessed with a happy life raising her children, traveling all over the world in her early years and traveling all over the United States, Canada and Mexico in a motorhome with her late husband 33 years, Frank.

She was the life of the party, and was loved by everyone that knew her. Recently she often spoke of looking forward to seeing all those who passed before her in Heaven and rejoining Frank to continue their after lives together. God speed on her new journey with Frank.

A viewing will be held at Cage Mills on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. and a small graveside service will be held at Duncan Cemetery in Flour Bluff at 2:00 p.m.
