Laura Elaine Payne passed away on September 7, 2012 at the age of 80. She was born in Lamesa, Texas on June 5, 1932 to Vaughn L. Hall and Orpheline Raimoland. Elaine was a loving and caring teacher for the Donna ISD for 38 years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Wilson.
Elaine leaves behind to cherish her memories her son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Debbie Payne; her grandson, Derek Payne; great-granddaughter, Julie Payne; 2 brothers, V. L. Hall and Jerry Hall.
Memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Payne’s name to Driscoll Children’s Hospital.
Visitation will be on Monday, September 10, 2012 at 10:00 am at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
