Laura Lee Guerra

Laura Lee (Salas) Guerra, age 41, passed away January 7, 2018 at 12:01 pm in Corpus Christi, TX with all her immediate family members and dearest friends. The love was great and powerful in the room with her as she passed. She was born August 17, 1976 to Juan and Maria L. Salas Jr. in Corpus Christi, TX.

Laura married her loving husband, Johnny Joe Guerra, of 22 years and had 4 beautiful children. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister-in-law, daughter and sister. She loved spending time with her family whether it was just to hang out, to BBQ or to play a game of phase 10. She enjoyed going to concerts of all types and listening to her son JJ and grandson X rap and sing. And let’s not forget about the Dallas Cowboys! No sister we will never forget!

Laura is preceded in death by her mother, Maria Lydia (Reyes) Salas, Grandfathers Emilio Reyes, Juan Salas, Juan C. Villegas, Grandmothers Augustina Villegas and Soila Salas

She is survived by her loving husband Johnny Joe Guerra, Son, Juan Jose Emilio Angel Guerra ”JJ” (Melody Mendez), grandchildren, Xadrian Angel Guerra “X” and Alexavier Issac Guerra “Alex”, Son Johnny Joe Guerra Jr. Daughters, Lesley Leigh Ann Guerra and Angelina Maria Guerra.

Father Juan Salas Jr., Brother Juan Emilio Salas (Sandra Hernandez), Nephews, Juan Jesus Salas “J”, Michael Anthony Salas “Mike”, Nieces, Christine Marie Rodriguez (Christopher Rodriguez), Sela Renee Salas, Leila Garcia. Sister Stephanie Salas, Nephews, Adrian Garcia, Dominic Martinez, Nieces, Sabrina Rodarte (Stephanie Valdez), Desiree Rodarte, Arabella Salas, grandniece, Autumn Rose Rosales.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. to Funeraria Del Angel.

Continued Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 11, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
