Larry Montoya- beloved father, son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend to so many, passed away on June 22, 2023 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Larry was born to proud mother Gracie Longoria on May 16th, 1976.
Larry found his creative passion as an older teenager working in the flooring business with his uncle. With hard work and dedication he was able to make it a career and took great pride in what he did. Larry was a man of faith which showed in his work ethic, how he treated his family and how much he valued his friendships.
Larry’s family describes him as a joker, always smiling and a family man. He was never in a bad mood and loved music. Larry was known as a giver always being there for people and putting others first. He loved to hang out with friends and family barbecuing, listening to music and catching up on what everyone was up to in life. Fishing was Larry’s favorite thing to do. He was a great fisherman always knowledgeable about the local waters and what lures and bait to use.
There is no doubt Larry brought joy to so many people’s lives and was his mother’s heart. Larry has taken a piece of her heart with him until they are reunited again.
With his strong faith in God, Larry has been reunited with his maternal grandmother, Ramona Garza and paternal grandparents.
