He will be remembered for his love of family. He always put them first and was a proud father, grandfather, great grandfather and amazing uncle. Juan had a passion for helping others and enjoyed watching his number one team play, the Dallas Cowboys. He was a High School graduate with Moody HS and went on to work with O’Mexico Restaurant for over 15 years. He also worked and retired with Horton Automatics in Corpus Christi.
Juan is reunited with his father, Juan Yanez Sr.; mother, Elsa L. Hernandez; and his brother, Rene Yanez.
He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Krystal Yanez (Juan Barrientos); grand-children, Jenessa Martinez, Aaliyah Muro, Jonathon Muro; great grandsons, Armani De Los Santos, Adonis Lee-Beasley, Jo’cyus Porter; step father, Edmundo Hernandez; siblings, Ambrosio Yanez, Corina De Los Santos (Gilbert), Linda Contreras (Raul); niece, Claudia Lampkin (Dedrick); great nieces, Ceonye, Corlin, and Carri Lampkin; he also leaves a host of numerous family member and cherished friends.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are, Claudia Lampkin, Ce’onye Lampkin , Dedrick Lampkin, Jonathen Muro, Ruben Contreras, Brandon Contreras.
Honorary pallbearers are his great grandsons, Armani Delossantos, Adonis Lee-Beasley, Jo’cyus Porter and his Step Dad, Edmundo Hernandez
Family will receive friends at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 1:30 p.m. with a Funeral Service to be conducted at 2:00 p.m. He will be laid to rest in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
