Joy Delores Cooper

Joy Delores Criner graduated from Corpus Christi High School. She married the love of her life, Robert C. Cooper on January 22 of 1949. Joy had a career as a school bus driver for Flour Bluff ISD. She was a proud member of Cactus Club and will be remembered for her love of dogs, plants and especially making people smile.

She is reunited with her beloved spouse, Bob Cooper; parents, Jessie Fay and Howard Criner.

She leaves her loving memories to her children, Dawne Cooper, Robert Cooper, Leslie Monroe; grandchildren, Sharlene Hernandez (David), Shelly Smallwood (Matt), Scott Cooper (Allison), Sarah Cooper, Jennifer Cummings; three great grandchildren; she also leaves her sister, Frances Mayfield.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, July 10, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.at Deaf & Hard of Hearing Center, 5151 McArdle Rd. Corpus Christi, TX 78411.
