Joe served in the U.S. Army in Korea. He worked for Frank’s Casing and various other oil field companies throughout the years. He was a very caring, loving and humble man who enjoyed cooking, looking at YouTube movies and keeping his hunny bunny happy (wife). He brought sunshine into this world, his laugh, his smile and his kindness touched everyone who ever knew him. He is that shining star in the sky that will love us for eternity.
He is survived by his parents, Senescio Garcia and Mary Albeza Guzman; step-father, James Freelon; wife, Rosie Ramos Garcia; step-son, Ryan Andrew Cervantes and his grandson, Donavan; step-son, Randall M. Cervantes; sister, Terry Sue (Kelly Todd) Thrasher; children, Veronica Jannel, Joey Jr., Stephanie, Shannan, Jacob, Seth and Jade. There are also many grandchildren and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at Funeraria del Angel-Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Rd on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 9:30 am with entombment to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 11:00 am.
