Josie was born March 19, 1948 in Gonzales, Texas to Anita R. Cervantes and Baldomero Ramirez.
She leaves behind David De La Rosa her companion of 25 years; her two sons Leon (Laura) Ramirez, Jerry Lee (Bernadine) Ramirez; four daughters Gloria (Rick) Camareno, Sandy (Mike) Quintanilla, Patricia (Max) Garcia, and Leslie (Jose) Garcia-Reyna; 36 grandkids: 36 great grandkids; three brothers Trinidad Ramirez, Baldomero (Josie) Ramirez, and Richard Ramirez; two sisters Cenaida Balboa, and Margarita Rodriquez; five half-siblings.

Josie worked 50 plus years in the laundry industry. Though she worked hard she forever savored the friendships and bonds she created within those years.
She loved to dress up even if it was just for a scenic ride around town and boy did she cherish her shoes. Something that always brought a smile to her face was having her family, friends around, and her passion for dancing.
Mom, we will miss you today, tomorrow, and everyday that comes after. Because even if you are no longer here with us you will forever be in our hearts and our memories. We will miss your loving hands, your loving whispers, and your compassionate soul. Through your drive and perseverance we have learned to never give up. We love you always and forever.. And I know “You love us more”.
