Jose H. Rodriguez

Jose “Pepe” H. Rodriguez passed away on April 23, 2015 at the age of 93. He was born in Skidmore, TX on September 28, 1921 to the late Blas Rodriguez and Teodosa Solano. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great grandfather and brother. He enjoyed spending time with his family Barbequing and clearing the living room to dance with his daughters. He also enjoyed working in his yard and his favorite relaxing time was watching his favorite team, The L.A. Dodgers.

He is preceded in death by his lovely wife, Consuelo A. Rodriguez and brothers and sisters, Josefa, Manuela, Evarista Rodriguez, Maria Rodriguez, Andrea Garza, Luisa Rodriguez, Trinidad Rodriguez, Macaria Rodriguez, Eugenio Rodriguez and Estefana Carranza.

Jose will be dearly missed by his children, Syria Perez (Juan), Joe A. Rodriguez (Janie), Irma Saldivar (Francisco), Victor Rodriguez (Lydia), Sandra Zuniga (Abraham) and Noel Rodriguez. He will also be missed by his 18 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; Goddaughter, Graciela Armadillo; brother, Salvador Magana and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Rodriguez, Frank Saldivar Jr., Joe Martinez Jr., Abraham Zuniga II, Michael Rodriguez, Noe Rodriguez and John Davila

The family will be receiving friends at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Sunday, April 26, 2015 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church on Monday, April 27, 2015 at 1:30 pm with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
