Jose B. Marroquin Jr.

He was born in La Feria, Texas on August 29, 1926 to Jose Marroquin Sr. and Gregoria B. Marroquin.

He was a truck foreman prior to a serious accident. He loved fishing and camping with family.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his children, Linda Sano (Frank), Anita Valderrama (Ernan), Telma Villa (Frank), Belinda Noyola, Mary Goodbehere (Mike), Jesse Marroquin, Arnold Marroquin (Michele), Ernest Marroquin, David Marroquin (Zerelda), Joseph Marroquin and Rene Marroquin; 24 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

His survivors include sisters, Juanita Hernandez, Maria Cuellar and brother Santiago Marroquin.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Marroquin Sr. and Gregoria B. Marroquin, his wife, Lucia Marroquin; children, Jose Marroquin III, Oscar Marroquin, Sr. and Victor Marroquin; sisters, Gabriella Morin, Consuelo Espinosa; brothers, Lupe, Carlos, Ricardo, Gilberto and Fidel Marroquin.

A visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly on Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. that same evening.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church on Monday, March 2, 2015 at 1 p.m. with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
