Jose Ricardo Gutierrez

Jose was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved being a prankster with people he loved. He loved working on cars and racing at Texas Pro Sedan Series and CC Speedway. He had a great love for his compadre, Lalo Leal and comadre, Norma Salazar, which he considered like his brother and sister.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Francisca and Leticia Gutierrez.

Jose is survived by his wife, Esmeralda Gutierrez; his children: Jose III, Krystal and Martha Gutierrez; his brothers: Roberto and Arturo Gutierrez; three sisters, Antonia Aguilar, Mari (Javier) Mancillas and Anna (Florencio) Piedra. “Daida” also leaves behind to cherish his memories by his five loving grandchildren: Eli Dominguez, Haighley Riojas, Ethan Riojas, Lilliana and Andrea Hernandez; numerous nieces and nephews that he adored.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, December 12, 2016 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Our Lady of Pilar with Interment to follow at Memory gardens Cemetery.
