Jose, or Rick as we called him in high school, was a nice guy. We lost touch a long time ago, but Facebook brought us back together. We chatted once or twice a month over the last few years. It was great being in contact, but I regret never getting to see him. I miss our little updates and sharing what was happening in our lives. He loved his family and was proud of everyone.  Rest in Peace, dear friend. I hope to see you again someday.

Rest in peace my dear friend. Let your soul remain within our own hearts. 

A brother I was never raised with but still my brother nonetheless. We were able to reconnect as adults and I enjoyed getting to know a little about him. May he Rest In Peace as he deserves. You will be missed and loved for eternity. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia Gonzales Bermudez; sons, Jose R. Bermudez and Rene A. Bermudez; and daughter, Maya M. Bermudez.
