Juan Jesus Ricardo Camacho “John”, 46, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, November 9, 2019. John was born on January 10, 1973 to Jesus Macedonio Camacho and Nancy Rowland.
He grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas receiving his education from Flour Bluff High School and attended Texas A&M University Corpus Christi. John later went on to become a Senior Inspector for Voss Engineering and a Business Owner. John enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, camping, and cooking. He was an adored father, and a husband. His wife and children were his pride and joy. John had an ability to meet and make friends, he lifted many people’s spirits day in and day out with his witty sense of humor. John had a great sense of humor and loved to make everyone laugh. He was truly one of a kind. He leaves behind many wonderful memories and lots of laughs to help ease our sorrow.
He is survived by his wife, Alma Camacho; children, John Camacho, Jr, Richard Camacho, Ceslie Camacho, Jonathan Camacho, Jesus Majik Camacho, Angelica Reyes, and his cherished pet dog BOSS. John was the light of their lives and their entire existence. He is also survived by his parents, Jesus Camacho (Kathy) and Nancy Burns (James); siblings, Trisia Camacho, Roy Camacho (Rachael), Robin Flores (Michael) and Tarah Gold (Michael), Shane McManus, and Tony McManus. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, along with numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
John was preceded in death by his grandparents, Juan and Maria Mejares with whom he had a special relationship with; Grandfather, Macedonio Camacho; Uncle, John Anthony Mejares; Aunt, Elizabeth Rowland Ochoa; Uncle, Juan Camacho of Brownsville, TX.
Visitation Memorial will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78415 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78415. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Adam Garza, Daniel Garza, Dan Aranda, Rudy Martinez, Jesse Cardenas, Rudy Martinez Jr., Mike Godert and Louie Rodriguez. Honorary pallbearers will be Jonathan Camacho and Jesus Majik Camacho.
