Jerome Oscar Mrazek, age 99, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. He was born in Hallettsville, Texas, on October 8, 1921 to Rudolph Mrazek and Stella (Fabrygal) Mrazek.
Jerome graduated from Robstown High School. He was married to Martha Mrazek until her death in 1991, and then to Flo Mrazek until her death in 2013.
Jerome worked in civil service for Aradmac/CCAD till his retirement in 1983. He loved working in his garage and going to his property in the Hill Country.
He is preceded in Death by his parents, Rudolph and Stella Mrazek; brothers: Raymond Mrazek, Henry Mrazek, and L.D. Mrazek.
He is survived by sister Thelma Hrncir of Dyersburg, TN; son Bob Mrazek and wife Minnie of Corpus Christi, Texas; son Ron Mrazek and wife Kim of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughter Beverly Glassel and husband John of Corpus Christi, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews, four granddaughters and five great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID, a private burial will be held at a later date.
In the last couple of months, dad kept saying that on his next birthday in October he would be "200." Dad you almost made it!
