Jean M. Lindley

The last 12 years Jean lived at the Port Lavaca Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center in Port Lavaca. She never met a stranger. Everyone was “Partner” to her. She loved God and Jesus and was always praying for someone. Jean used to weave pot holders and panchos. She loved anything with the Dallas Cowboys or Elvis Presley on it and to sing for people.

Jean is survived by brother, William Charles Lindley (Doris), of Jones Creek; sister, Karen Jackson (Larry), of Orange Grove; half-brother, Frank Athey (Janet), of Corpus Christi; half-sister, Shirlie Duffy (Ralph), of Bishop; half-sister, Cynthia Barecky (David), of Port Lavaca, and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step-mom, Margaret Lindley, half-sister, Fran Springs, brother-in-law, Harold Springs; half-brother, Dan Lindley and nephew Michael Reese.

Graveside service will be held Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery in Corpus Christi.

Pallbearers are Frank Athey, Steven Athey, Aaron Barecky, Ralph Duffy, Steven Emig and Zach Villegas.
