Janie T. Davis

She was a long- time resident of Corpus Christi, Texas. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She loved singing to the Lord and prayed for others who were sick, in spite of her condition.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Roy Davis: her two sisters, Celia T. De Luna, Christela T. Pena and her brother, Cosme Trejo.

She leaves behind her devoted husband of 58 years, James Lee Davis, Sr.: her 7 sons, Jimmy, Jerry, Eddie, Henry, David, Mark, Noe and 4 daughters, Judy Clark, Edna J. Alvear, Ramona Medina and Jody Guerra. Ms. Davis also leaves behind to cherish her memories numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family will be receiving friends from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holy with a prayer service at 7:00 pm that same evening. A funeral service will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Funeraria del Angel Memorial Holy with a burial to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to assist with funeral expenses.
