He was born in Liberty, Arkansas on October 3, 1940 to the late James and Mary Lois Waid.
James is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Tracy Waid, one nephew, Sethen L. Waid and one brother, Billy Gene Waid.
James leaves behind his family to cherish his memories, the mother of his children, Ronnie Marie Waid, two daughters, Greta Graham (Steven) and Mary Waid; three grandchildren, Richard Waid, Stephanie Graham and Benjamin Graham; one great grandson, Curtis Green; his brother, Albert (Kathy) Waid: uncle, George (Jackie) Jackson and numerous of other family members and friends.
James will be missed dearly by all his family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2011 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
