James (Jimmy) Doyle Van Cleave 46, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away in his home May 30, 2011, after a long illness.
He was an honest, hard working man and when able, he was the first person there to lend a helping hand. Everyone who knew him loved him. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his father, W.R. “Jack” Van Cleave, Sr., brothers, Ronnie (Connie) Van Cleave and W.R. “Jackie” Van Cleave, Jr.; sisters, Sherry Sue Barber and Vicki (Nick) Cover. He was preceded in death by his mother Beverley Sue Van Cleave. He leaves to cherish his memory his long-time friend, Sheila Prosek. Private services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Lung Association.
