James H. Cade III

Jim was the eldest of four children raised in Corpus Christi. A graduate of Miller High School and Del Mar College, he worked in the refinery industry and later as a Registered Nurse. Jim was a lifelong model car enthusiast and avid fan of fishing.

Following in his family's seven generations of service, Jim served in Vietnam as an Infantryman. His son follows as a Sargent Major in Army Special Operations.

He is survived by his two children, Leeann (Curtis) Fox and David (Julie) Cade, and his sister, Diana Cade. Jim was extraordinarily proud of his five grandchildren: Christopher, Spencer, Mara, Jaclyn and Michael.

Visitation followed by funeral services will be held at 12 PM on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 2 PM at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
