Isaac loved barbecuing and family get-togethers, and has passed on his talents on the grill to sons, sons-in-law, grandchildren and friends alike. He always enjoyed time with his large close-knit family. He spent his free time staying busy with gardening, landscaping, and he was always there to help relatives and friends with household projects. Born in Corpus Christy, Texas on June 3, 1936, he served his country in the U.S. Army, and later worked as a civilian aircraft mechanic, among other trades throughout his years.
Isaac was preceded in death by a daughter Maria Maza (Tommie). He is survived by his wife Virginia of 59 years, daughters Sylvia Maza, Melinda Maza, Molly Evans, sons Victor Maza, Isaac Maza Jr., sisters, brothers, and many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. Isaac/Tony was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to everyone.
A special thank you to the people at Brookdale Hospice and No Place Like Home in Dallas for their loving care and support during his final days. Also, the family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude towards Cage Mills Funeral Home for being very accommodating and understanding during this difficult time.
Visitation will be from 5 PM until 9 PM at Cage Mills Funeral Directors on Tuesday, August 07, 2018 with Holy Rosary recited at 7 PM that evening. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated for Isaac will at Christ the King Catholic Church in Corpus Christi on Wednesday, August 08 at 1:00 PM. Isaac will be laid to rest at the Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas.
