Irma Moreno Irigoyen, age 48, from Corpus Christi, Texas born on June 9, 1963 passed away June 21, 2011. She went gracefully to her Lord and her most Sacred Heart Jesus Christ with her loving family by her side. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Luis A. Irigoyen, Sr., two daughters and a son, Valerie D. Irigoyen, Brittany M. (Daniel) Perales, Luis A. Irigoyen, Jr. and her dog Woody, who she loved dearly; her mother Rosa Polendo, Stepfather Joe Polendo, and her brother Joey (Laura) Moreno all from Corpus Christi, Texas. She graduated from Roy Miller High School in 1981. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant and was pursuing her Registered Nurses Certification in 1984, but decided to pursue her teaching career at Mary McLeod Bethune Day Nursery. She was a loving member of the Society of the Body of Christ, the Blue Angels Auxiliary, and a Diplomat of Missionaries. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend. She will be missed dearly and always be remembered.
We the family would like to thank the medical staff of Dr. Kathleen Soch, Dr. Salim Surani and Dr. Toth for all the support and care of our loved one.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 24, 2011 at Funeraria del Angel, 549 Cheyenne from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
