Hector E. Sanchez

Hector Elias Sanchez, born October 7th, 1933 was called home by his Father in Heaven on October 20th, 2023. Hector was met in Heaven’s gate by his beloved, Maria De Los Angeles Sanchez, his beloved daughter, Ida S. Capps and beloved grandson, Joseph Daniel Ramos.

Hector was a veteran with the Army and retired from CCAD Security. Hector’s hobbies included playing baseball, softball, fishing, oystering, dominoes and watching the Dallas Cowboys football and Astros baseball games.

Hector’s love for Our Lord Jesus included his devotional Joel Osteen programs which he cherished. Hector will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him and loved him.

Leaving behind to cherish Hector’s memories are his children, Diana Ramos (Joe), Cindy Ann Simmons (Roddy) and Hector Roland Sanchez; grandchildren, Frederick Ramos (Cindy), Michelle Perez, Dakota Sanchez, Sierra Sanchez, Christian Simmons, Ashley Simmons, and Braedan Simmons, Dominick Iorgov; great-grandchildren, Ross Perez, Christian Perez, Joseph Matthew Perez, Nicole Ramos, Abigail Ramos, Tara Rhodes, Simon Aubin, Audia Banda, Avery Iorgov, Faith Iorgov; three great-great-grandchildren and numerous family and friends.

A visitation for Hector will be held Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 5:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A funeral service will occur Friday, November 3, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery.
