He was married to Irene Zamora on January 6, 1973. Hector retired from the City of Corpus Christi after many years of working as a meter reader. He had a passion for The Dallas Cowboys Football team, cooking BBQ, and listening to music with family and friends.
Hector is survived by his children: Michael Moreno, Michelle Moreno, Carol (Demetrius) Santos, Juan (Claudia) Moreno; girlfriend Mary Lou Flores; Mother, Hortencia Moreno; Siblings: Sylvia Garcia, Diana (Gerry) Moreno, Robert (Diana) Moreno; step-children: Priscilla Holguin, Fred (Christina) Holguin, Carlos (Caroline) Holguin;
17 Grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
