Hector G Hernandez

On July the 6th, 2014, our Lord Jesus Christ welcomed Hector G. Hernandez into his Father’s House after a short challenge with cancer. Hector was born on November 5, 1934 to Ana Maria Gomez and Conrado Hernandez. A long-adult life resident of Corpus Christi, Hector was a member of Holy Family and Solado de Cristo. His long life partner, friend, confidant and wife, Paula Curiel was his shield and friend. Hector loved spending time with family, and speaking in front of crowds about his experiences and love of God. The life of Hector is best summarized by his loving nephew, Hector Hugo Hernandez:

Hector is survived by his wife of 62 years, Paula Curiel, his sister Lidia Hernandez-Gomez, his 5 children, Conrado Hernandez, Ana Maria Hernandez-Amaro, Sylvia Hernandez-Salazar, Aurora Hernandez-Lozano, Hector Javier Hernandez; fourteen grandchildren – Hector E, Gianni, Rebeca, Frank, Erika, Arturo, Carlos, Joey, Nelson, Dylan, Andres, Azul, Maya, Christopher; fourteen great-grandchildren (nine boys and five girls).

Family will be receiving friends from 9:00am to 9:00 pm at Funeraria del Angel -549 Cheyenne on Thursday, July 10, 2014 with a rosary at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday, July 11, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial to be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
