Hector is preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Ruben Garcia.
Hector was a lifelong resident of Corpus Christi. He was a self-employed house painter. Hector was a loving son, brother, and uncle who will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his siblings, Rosa (Ruben) Garcia, Raul (Eunice) Garcia, Graciella (Ronald) Barsh. Hector is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 9th, 2015 at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial-Holly, with a funeral service to be held at 6:00 p.m. that same evening.
Services will conclude in the chapel. Final resting place will be in Austin, Texas.
