Heberto V. Garza

Heberto studied at Amado Nervo College where he got his degree in accounting. He retired from the Tamaulipas, Mexico government.

His wife, Maria Ortega-Garza and his son, Juan Heberto Garza precede him in death.

He is survived by his children, Griselda Garza de Amaya (Hector Amaya), Rosa Garza, Lucio Garza (Claudia Garza), Aurelio Garza (Alma Garza), Mayeli Garza-Chapa (Horacio Chapa); 18 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren, his brother, Jose Antonio Garza (Maria G. Garza) and several nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to his doctors, Abimael Perez, MD, Gregory Trolley, MD, and Kent Tompkins Sr., MD. Also thanks to Christus Spohn Hospice and Palliative Care (especially Bill, LVN; Katie, RN; Veronica, RN; Melanie, CNA and Madonna, Social Worker.)

Pallbearers will be Lucio Garza Sr., Aurelio Garza, Hector Amaya Jr., Cristian Chapa, Lucio Garza Jr., and Alberto Castillo Jr.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Funeraria Del Angel-Cheyenne, 549 Cheyenne St., at 10:00am with Chapel Services at 11:30am. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Facemasks are required due to COVID guidelines.
