Harlan Carroll Buckley

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harlan Carroll Buckley “Buck/Butch” of Corpus Christi, Texas. He passed away on November 21, 2023, at the age of 76 leaving the family & friends to mourn & celebrate his life. Harlan was born on February 16, 1947, in Borger, Texas to Vivian Louise “Lou” Buckley (Whitecotton) and Harlan Earl Buckley. Harlan had a wonderful relationship with his heavenly father, and he was devoted to his family.

He is preceded in death by his mother Vivian Louise Buckley (Whitecotton) and Harlan Earl Buckley.

Survivors include his family, wife Glenda Aline Buckley (Gates), sister Linda Thompson (husband Kenneth Thompson), sister Barbara Buckley, & his children Shannon Garrison, Cindy Rashott (husband Jeremy Rashott), Rachel Hale (husband Christopher Hale), & grandchildren Sabrina Sanchez, Gabriella Garrison, Melissa Garrison, Heather Garrison, & Aiden Rashott. Also, other loving family & friends.

Harlan served in the Air Force for 4 years. He also graduated from Calallen High School Class of 1966. He retired from Oxy Chem (Brown & Root) & had his own pools & spa business. He was a long-time member of Annaville Baptist Church.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 9:00 AM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 AM in the Funeral Home Chapel. He will be laid to rest in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
