Guadalupe Ruiz Castillo passed away on January 16, 2024 at the age of 84. He was born on November 2, 1939 to the late Carmen and Manuel Castillo in Nursery, Texas. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Guadalupe proudly served his country in the United States Army and went on to become a retiree with this branch of service as a fully decorated veteran. He will be remembered for his love of family.
He is reunited with his parents; beloved wife, Olga Castillo; brothers, Jesus, Juan and Florencio Castillo; and his sister, Victoria Rodriguez.
Guadalupe leaves his loving memories to his nieces, Carmen Pulido, Anita Medrano (Victor), Aurora Lara(Manuel) ;brothers, Manuel Castillo Jr., Ricky Castillo, Joey Castillo, Anthony Castillo; sister in law, Theresa Dominguez; step daughter, Marisela Dominguez; nephew, Arnulfo Pulido Sr.(Sandra); great nephews, Arnulfo Pulido Jr., David Pulido (Jackie), Alejandro Pulido (Angelica), Manuel Lara (Denise), Armando Lara, Victor Medrano Jr.; great nieces, Jackie Cascallares (Steve), Jennifer Hernandez, Amanda Ceja (David), Daniella Dominguez, Victoria Medrano; great-great nephews, David M. Pulido, Andrew N. Pulido, Damian Pulido, Gustavo Pulido, Francisco Flores, Jax Cascallares, Aiden Hernandez, Noah Hernandez, Manuel Lara, Mateo Lara; great-great nieces, Isabella R. Pulido, Sophia Pulido, Adriana Cascallares, Gabriella Lara grandchildren; Nathaniel Dominguez, Victoria Cisneros, Ryan Cisneros, Alex Cisneros, Isabella Cisneros, Raymond Cisneros, John Cisneros, Paul Cisneros; cousins, Denise Dominguez, and Danny Dominguez(Roxanne); 7 great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces,nephews, and cousins.
Family will receive friends at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 3502 Saratoga Blvd. Corpus Christi, Texas 78415 on Thursday, January 25th, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
A continued visitation will at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 3502 Saratoga Blvd. Corpus Christi, Texas 78415 on Friday, January 26th, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. with a Mass to be celebrated at 10:15 a.m. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Robstown, Texas with Full Military Honors.
