Guadalupe L. Banda

Guadalupe Lorenzo Banda, 88 of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on April 1, 2018. He was born on December 15, 1929 to Lorenzo and Elisa Banda. Guadalupe worked for Tennessee Pipeline for many years. M. Roy Hunt always included him and his family with the many functions that were held. He also worked for Barry Construction and others. He was a hard working man that always provided for his family. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Guadalupe married the love of his life, Lupita and had six children. Later on in Life he married Cirila and had step-children. Lupe is preceded in death by his parents, Lorenzo and Elisa Banda; his son Lupito Banda; his sisters, Gloria Gutierrez, Josefa B. Villarreal and Yolanda Jasso; Brothers, Zeferino Banda and Heriberto Banda and his second wife, Cirila Banda. He is survived by his former wife, Guadalupe Deason; daughters, Lupita (David) Garcia, Elizabeth (Roland) Salazar; sons, George (Anabella), Carlos (Belinda) Banda, and Bill Banda.; brother, Nick Banda ; sisters, Aurora Garza and Mary Paz Cox. Lupe is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Public visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 p.m. A chapel service will be held at Funeraria Del Angel on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family would like to thank Uncle Nick and Aunt Kathy Banda for their constant help with Daddy.
