He began his military career with the United States Army and then retired with the United States Navy. He will be remembered for his love of reading. Gary enjoyed crafting woodworks for his home. He will be dearly missed.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Arnold Cornelison and Leona Kirby; sister, Faye and brother, Jack.
Gary is survived by his wife, Martha Cornelison; sister, Margret Blum (Tom); brother, Virgil Cornelison (Emma); sons, Gary Cornelison Jr., David Cornelison (Holly), Anthony Davis (Susana), and Raymond Davis (Connie); daughters, Wendy Davis, Sallie Davis and Aprill Davis and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 1, 2016 at Funeraria Del Angel from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Funeraria Del Angel at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery with full Military Honors.
