Frank Steve Lozano, Jr., 56 years old, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at home surrounded by his family and friends after a year and a half of battling an illness. Frank was born on May 10, 1966 in Floresville, Texas. He will be greatly missed by his parents, Belen and Cirilo Urbina and Frank Steve Lozano, Sr. (Father).
Frank is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ned and Modesta Longoria of Nixon, Texas, and Isabel and Reynalda Lozano of Robstown, Texas; and uncle, Ned Longoria of Nixon, Texas.
Frank is survived by his three daughters, Leslie E. Cristan, (Robert) Francesca Belen and Gabrielle (Gabby) Lozano. His grandchildren, Joziah, Jax and Jacqueline Lee, Robyn and Ethan Montalvo, Alyssa, Donovan, Sophia and Vivienne Cristan; three great-grandchildren, Grayson Sanchez, Aryana and Adylyan Talamantes. Frank’s sibling are Marietta Lozano, Grace (Dennis) Poer, Michael (Vicky), Jeanette Lozano. Nephews, Andy and Gideon Benavides and Robert Poer. Nieces, Alixandria Poer, Anastasia Edwards; great-nephew, Andrew Benavides; and great-niece, Raylene Benavides. His uncle and aunt Jessie and Angie Benavides of Corpus Christi, Texas. His cousins, Jesse Benavides, Pilar, Peter and Ned Longoria, Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many loving friends.
Frank attended West Oso High school and worked in the furniture industry all his life. He was employed at Rooms to Go Furniture Store as a salesman in the children’s department in the later part of his journey on earth. Frank had a quick sense of humor and he and loved to help anyone who needed his help. Frank loved to barbeque and cooked the best barbeques ever, he loved fishing with friends and his grandson, enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and was an avid darts player. Frank’s special hobbies were woodwork, sketching and drawing. Despite his illness he found comfort in knowing he would one day be present with the Lord. Frank will be missed and remembered forever by his loved ones.
The family would like to express gratitude to Frank’s friends who visited him or called during his time of his illness, the doctors and nurses at Christus Spohn Shoreline and the nurses and care team at Angel Bright hospice center.
The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetery, located at 8200 Old Brownsville Rd. Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM. A Catholic Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish. A funeral cortege will depart the church at 11:00 AM for Rite of Committal and Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
A family and friends reception will be held at the Alexia’s Event Center & Bridal Boutique, located at 2429 Johanna St. Corpus Christi, Texas 78415 immediately after the funeral services.
