Frank M. Garcia Jr.

Frank M. Garcia, Jr. passed away on June 20, 2012. He was born on November 13, 1947. He was a loving father, grandfather and husband. He served his country with the United State Marine Corp. during the Vietnam Conflict and was a master mechanic at Ruben’s Fleet Service for 17 years. He loved dancing, playing pool and BB-Qing. He is preceded in death by his parents Frank Garcia, Sr. and Higinia Garcia. He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years Christine H. Garcia and also his children Frank, Corina, Elvira and Barney Garcia along with Grace Lee, Yvette, Roxanne, Rey, Adrian, and Mary Gonzalez, numerous nephews, nieces, sisters, brothers, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Frank and Barney Garcia, Rey and Adrian Gonzalez, Arturo Rodela, and Edward Rodriguez. The family would like to give special thanks to Christine H. Garcia his loving wife and Diane Acura for their dedication and support with his courageous battle with cancer. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, June 25, 2012 at Funeraria del Angel- Cheyenne with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with a burial to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, procession to depart from the Funeral Home at 12:30 p.m. The family requests that no photos be taken.
