Florence Ann Spitzer

Florence was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. Florence graduated from Mary Carroll High School in 1976 and was a member of the elite group of Tigerettes. She enjoyed spending time with family and watching kids and grandkids grow up. Florence will always be remembered for her love of laughter, and that “knee slapping” laugh she had that brought you to tears. Those close to her called her Punkin or Mama. She was social and kind to everyone she met. She was very protective of her loved ones and so devoted to her family.

Florence is preceded in death by her parents Louis Anthony Sacky, III and Dora Mae Sacky; her brother Robert Louis Sacky; and Sister Sherial Lynn Sacky.

She is survived by her children: Garry (Barbara) Cooke, Christopher (Bianca) Spitzer, and Travis (Natasha) Spitzer;

Siblings: Silvia Rose Sacky Lawrence, Misty (Claudia) Sacky, Zondra Foster Sacky, and Geraldine (John) Cringole; Grandchildren: Joshua David Spitzer, Lyra Mae Spitzer, Madelynne Rose Hernandez Spitzer, Arlo Churchill Cooke, Ana Spitzer, and Eli Spitzer; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial and celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Florence is entrusted to Funeraria Del Angel-Everhart, 4901 Everhart Road, Corpus Christi, Texas.
