In 1952 Linda graduated from San Antonio Business School then went on to graduate from Del Mar College School of Nursing in 1972. After retirement from Spohn Hospital she went on to work as a nurse at a Skilled Nursing Facility then as a private nurse for several residents of Corpus Christi. Caring for the sick was her passion and her calling. Linda was a lifelong member of Ss. Cyril & Methodist Catholic Church. Her faith never wavered and was strong until the end. She was a member of the YWCA where she enjoyed her swim classes and was an avid mall walker. She loved traveling, especially her trips to Las Vegas with her loving husband of 69 years, Marcos Trevino. She enjoyed family gatherings for all occasions and loved cooking for anyone that came for visits. Her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were her life.
The Trevino Family would like to thank from the bottom of our hearts: Janie Ayala, Rocio Valdez, Perla Garza, Queta Colonga, Terrina Wilson, Margarita Leal, Ruby Harris, Debbie Johnson and John Flores from The University House where they provided 24/7 loving care to our mother. We would also like to thank Del Cielo Home Health Hospice nurses, Jennifer and Kaitlyn for their tender care. A very special thank you to Maria Espindola for her personal care to our mother and father during their time of need.
