Erika was my best friend, my partner in crime, my musical soulmate. She was the life of the party. Wherever we went, she made friends easily. She lit the room with her beautiful smile. My heart hurts for Richard and her family. I loved her like she was my sister. And she took me in as one. She included me in everything with her family. Thank you, Richard, for letting me have so many amazing and memorable moments with her...For all our concerts and out of town trips that we had. She will always be remembered. 
My deepest condolences to the Garcia and Martinez family. 


Richard and family, My heart breaks over the loss of your beautiful Erika. It's hard to believe she's gone. She was truly everyone's friend and I loved her dearly! Praying for you all.

Erika, was one of a kind! She was so sweet, funny, a joy to have around, loving to her husband ( my cousin, Richard )  and daughters and her entire family.  She was the light of  her husband’s eye and the love of his life.  I will always cherish the memories we shared with her and we will forever keep her in our hearts. You will never be forgotten, beautiful angel.

My sincerest condolences to all of Erika's family.  What a beautiful legacy she leaves behind to all who crossed her path.  She was beautiful and so accomplished.  Being a second cousin, I will carry her bright smile in my heart forever.  God grant her loved ones strength and peace all their days.  

Erika is definitely unforgettable. She had a smile that lit up the room.  She always cheered us up if we were down. She was there for me so many times. I will forever remember the many hilarious memories we have. Especially our dancing. This has been unbelievably difficult. Every time I look at one of your pictures I cry. I try not to, I hear your silly voice telling me "come on, don't cry"   you will definitely be missed Miss America  😢 we love you always. 

Erika was  an amazing friend !  We clicked over the phone working for the WAG!  We became close and even closer over the 15 years !  She shared a close relationship with my family  and my kids! I had so many amazing memories with her but the best ones were us literally sitting on a couch ,watching tv with no actual plans to do anything just be there in each other’s presence! She proved time after time true friendship!  I will forever love and hold  you to my heart !  To have her show  up one more time at my house ,just because it’s a free weekend !!  

Erika was a dear friend of my daughter Luci.  They always had a very good time along with their other friends whenever they visited each other.  She was friendly and very respectful. She will be greatly missed. Prayers and condolences to Richard and their kids.
