Edelmira Rivera, age 74, passed away on September 5, 2015. She was born on June 6, 1941 to Victor and Victoria Garza. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. She also enjoyed bingo and always enjoyed Texas lottery scratch offs.
Edelmira is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Reynaldo Rivera Sr.
Edelmira is survived by her children, Ray Rivera (Rosie “Nina”), Richard Rivera, Rodney Rivera (Maggie), and Iris Rivera; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 5830 Williams Dr. Interment will follow at Orange Grove Pro-Cemetery Union.
