Dora C. Curiel Porras

She was a housewife as well as co-founder of the Jehovah Jireh Christian Church Gen 22:14 where she ministered alongside her husband for 22 years.

The Lord took their ministry to Guatemala, C.A, San Salvador, C.A. to Mexico San Luis Potosi (El Naranjo), Cuidad Victoria, Torreon, Coahuila where she adopted a family as her own the Sonora Miranda Family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Othon Porras, parents, Arnulfo and Dora Curiel; two brothers, Francisco and Alejos Curiel.

Dora is survived by three daughters, Linda Gail (Fred) Huber, Isabel Guajardo (Adan Reyes) and Luz Divina Porras (David Zapata); one son, Mario Alberto Porras (Ruby) and two brothers, Oudon Curiel and Cristobal Curiel; three sisters, Petra Ortega, Adela Alvarez and Eva Garcia; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She also leaves behind to cherish her memories, twelve grandchildren and Graciela Sonora Miranda whom she saw as a daughter.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Fuenraria Del Angel with a prayer service at 6 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral services will be on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at Funeraria del Angel with interment to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
