Denise Hill-Alvarez

Denise was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She devoted her life to Education and loved teaching children. Denise was a member of the Texas Council of Mathematics Teacher and retired as the chair of the Department of Education Texas A&M Corpus Christi. She enjoyed spending her time outdoors and riding horses with her husband.

She is preceded in death by her father, T.M. Daniel.

Denise leaves behind to cherish her memories her beloved husband, Benito Alvarez Jr.; children, John and Megan Hill, Michelle Alvarez, Jody and Monica Pena, Joe and Priscilla Pena; grandchildren, Isaiah, Uriel, Tres, Ryan, Jace; mother, Mary Daniel; and her brother, Tom and Jenny Daniel.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Rd. on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral Service will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
