Delia Cantu Lorfing

Delia Cantu Lorfing age 84, of Corpus Christi, Texas peacefully entered heaven's gate on Thursday, January 11, 2024, she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Delia was born April 27, 1939 to parents Manuel and Severa Cantu in Papalote, Texas.

She was very passionate about her family and would loved sharing every moment with her children, grandkids, great-grandkids, and friends. Delia would often play bingo with her friends and loved going to Las Vegas and traveling the world with her late husband Calvin Lorfing.

Delia Cantu Lorfing is preceded in death by husband Calvin Lorfing.

Her legacy and beacon of love and friendship will continue through her children, Esther Cruz (Tony R. Cruz Jr.), Donna Perez, Dorothy Martinez, Dora Wilmot (Michael Wilmot), and son Ray DeLeon. Left to share and cherish her beautiful memories are her grandchildren, Dorian Guerra, Rocko Cruz, Natalia Perez, Eulexis Perez, Cassity Perez, Christian Trey Perez, Celine DeLeon, Allison DeLeon, great-grandchildren; Jewel, Alyssa, Andrew, Joshua Guerra, Brayden, Brody, Khalessi, Cashton, Casiah.

A celebration of life for Delia will be held Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Everhart, 4901 Everhart Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78411. A rosary and eulogy will occur Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 4901 Everhart Rd., Corpus Christi, TX. A church mass will occur Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Our Lady Of Perpetual Help, 5830 Williams Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78412. An interment will occur Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 2:30 PM at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 2731 Comanche ST, Corpus Christi, TX 78408.
