Debra Ann Rodriguez, at the age 53, peacefully passed away on January 16, 2021 at Doctors Regional Medical Center in Corpus Christi, TX. Debra had multiple heath challenges throughout her lifespan, but still being a survivor and a constant fighter. Debra got the chance to spend her last days with her boys and family members by her side. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gilberto R. Garcia, Sr. and Concepcion L. Garcia; Her brother Gilbert Garcia, Jr.; Sister-in-law Nelia Garcia and her beloved pets, Tiny and MooMoo.
Debra was born to Valentin M. Segovia and Norma A. Segovia on August 8, 1967 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Where she graduated from WB Ray High School in May of 1985. Debra was a special needs teacher's aid at Mary Grett Elementary School. She also loved to volunteer her time at Casa Linda Elementary and Sam Houston Elementary Schools. She was a big animal lover also known for feeding and helping neighborhood pets. Debra has three sons, Jaime Rodriguez, Jr., Gilberto Alfonso Rodriguez, and Hector Hernandez. Debra was daughter, sister, mother, mother-in-law, and a grandmother who was loved dearly.
Debra is survived by her sons, Jaime (Victoria) Rodriguez, Gilbert (Genevie) Rodriguez and Hector Hernandez; grandchildren, Damian, Darian, Marilyn, Anastasia, Nelia, Eli, and Aceson; her mother Norma A. Segovia. Siblings, Michael (Rosa) Segovia, Joseph Segovia, Tina Canchola, and Stephanie (Jason) Mearlon, and numerous nieces and nephews. Debra will be missed but not forgotten, her memories will linger for ages, and her presence will never die.
