Deborah Walker Selvidge

Deborah Walker Selvidge, 63, of Corpus Christi passed away on April 19, 2019. She was born in Corpus Christi, TX on November 13, 1955. Debbie graduated from Mary Carroll High School with the class of 1974. Later that same year, she married Robert R. Selvidge on August 10, 1974.

Debbie was a homemaker and in addition, worked in early childhood development. She worked for several churches over the years, but was most recently employed with Second Baptist Church, where her 3 youngest grandchildren also attended. Debbie’s greatest enjoyments in life were her children and grandchildren, the great outdoors, and her relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James S. Walker and Lillian D. Walker. She is survived by her daughters, and their spouses, Shawna Clay (Brad), and Stacie Saenz (Richard); grandchildren, Thomas S. Clay, Liam O. Clay, Paul L. Saenz, Brooke N. Saenz, and Kyle R. Saenz; her sister, Nancy Fisher; and a host of extended family and friends.
