

He was born on February 7, 1953 in Corpus Christi, to Lee Marion and Pearlie Mae Tolbert.
David graduated from Roy Miller High School in 1972. He worked for Fulton Construction for over 25 years. David loved the Lord and enjoyed Sunday dinners with his family and loved KFC, Subway, jolly ranchers and his coke. His grandchildren were his greatest pride and joy. He leaves behind his family to cherish his memories, two daughters, Maxine Rae Rose (Elvin) of Corpus Christi, and Michelle Lee Williamson of Charlotte, North Carolina, and their mother, Betty De La Cruz; four grandchildren, Nathaniel Austin Williamson who was called "Big Head Boy" by his papa, Ontaryo David Nearor, Avery Rae Williamson and Jackson Kole Nearor; his twin brother, Donald (Mary) Tolbert; three sisters, Alberta Moore, Bobbie (Kevin) Williams and Minnie (Mark) Austin; host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with a wake service at 7:00 p.m. that evening.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
