With all of his might,
Held strong,
For so long,
Held on with all he could,
He was good.
He had the biggest smile,
Genuine and worthwhile,
Sincere and kind,
Happiness to find,
And full of love,
More than one could think of.
His loss in this life,
Despite struggles and strife ,
Still comes difficult to understand,
Why now he walks holding God's hand,
And not here,
Tears.
No longer is he in pain,
But it required another gain,
Into the kingdom of heaven in peace,
That type of grace will not cease,
And though we wish he could stay,
This was the day.
Now he's surrounded with his mother,
His father and brother,
Richard be proud,
Love surround,
Prayers for comfort,
Among the ache and hurt.
Take the time to reflect,
Though like pain from the bite of an insect,
Cuts deep into the heart,
Making you feel apart,
As the pieces fade
From the emotional blade.
Never let go of memories,
Tell everyone of the stories,
Their merit,
Their spirit,
His courage and most importantly,
A friend, family.
